By using Hana, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, do not use the Services.

What is Hana?

Hana is an AI-powered voice service designed to support people managing chronic and behavioral health conditions. Hana is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any illness.

Emergency Notice

Hana is not for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

Not a Medical Service

Hana is not a medical device or clinical treatment platform. It is a supplemental support tool. We do not provide medical advice, therapy, or crisis intervention. Use Hana to help track your health journey—not to replace professional care.

If you are at risk of harm to yourself or others, or are experiencing suicidal thoughts, do not use Hana—call emergency services or seek help from a licensed professional immediately.

Who Can Use Hana?

You must be at least 13 years old to use Hana. If you're under the age of majority in your area, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these Terms on your behalf. If you're using Hana for an organization, you confirm that you're authorized to do so.

User Responsibilities

By using Hana, you agree to:

Provide accurate information
Use Hana for your own personal health support, not for commercial use
Not interfere with Hana or attempt to misuse the service
Protect your account information

You may not use Hana to violate laws, infringe on rights, or harm others.

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Hana follows HIPAA-compliant standards and does not share your data without consent. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we discover such data, it will be deleted.

Your Content

Anything you share with Hana—voice input, text, notes—is considered your content ("User Submission"). By using Hana, you grant us permission to process and store this content to operate the service.

We do not claim ownership of your data. You can request account deletion at any time.

Intellectual Property

All Hana content, systems, and technology are owned by us. You agree not to copy, sell, reverse-engineer, or misuse any part of Hana.

Safety and Abuse

You agree not to:

Misuse Hana or provide false or abusive information
Attempt to hack, disrupt, or harm the system or other users
Use Hana in any way that could pose a risk to yourself or others

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if these Terms are violated.

Platform Access

Hana is available via phone, web, and voice interface. It may interact with apps or platforms like WhatsApp or SMS. If downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play, you agree to their terms as well.

10. No Guarantee

Hana is provided "as is." We make no guarantees about its accuracy, availability, or effectiveness. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice or treatment.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Hana is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for using the Services, if any.

12. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises, it will be handled through binding arbitration in California under JAMS rules. You waive the right to a jury trial or class action.

13. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Hana after changes means you accept the new Terms.

14. Ending Use

You can stop using Hana at any time. We may also suspend or end your access at our discretion, especially if Terms are violated.
